SILLY

First, from a comment by Zoe Brain at PHB:

“Much as I identify as an Intersexed woman, straight, gender-conforming, someone who is Biologically More Female Than Even “True Transsexuals” (difficult writing that nonsense with a straight face)… no.”

Well, writing it is not half as difficult as reading it with a straight face, considering Zoe is married to a natal female, has 46 – XY chromosomes, fathered a child, and claims to have had a spontaneous sex change.  Just plain silly…

IGNORANT

We now have our first two time winner, first in the silly category, and now in the ignorant column.  Please, with a warm applause, welcome Ehipassikoid, Cristan Williams’ latest attempt to gain traction:

I’ve tried over and over again to engage this segregationist group in dialogue and I guess today I finally have had enough of trying to talk to them. They’re exactly like trying to talk to a young-earth creationist fundi. Today, I once again tried to reach out to this group and, for the last time, had the door slammed in my face…

Ms. Williams links to my blog as example of no one willing to engage in dialogue with her.  Now, in all fairness, it seems from the disjointed nature of her blog post that the gist of her rant is aimed squarely at Ashley Love…specifically, Ashley’s deleting her comments.  But, she links to my blog as the example.  I wonder if Cristan can even read.  If one follows the link she posts to my blog and then reads the comments they will find what even a third-grader can wrap their mind around.  First, she is engaged in dialogue.  Second, she asks for a point by point rebuttal…and I give it to her point by point, but it is Cristan that refused to comment.  Thirdly, I didn’t censor her numerous comments, much less delete what she said.  She ends her effort by calling us names…says we are trolls, and claiming we hate them.  Don’t the transgender ever get fed up with the same ole tired and worn out insults.

Ms. Williams says she is “…not wasting any more of my [her] time and energy begging them [us] to open the lines of communication.” And, I say good…the less we hear of the Cristan Williams of the world the better…the way, way, way better.  I also say very good for Ashley Love for deleting her comments.  What many transgender do, but Cristan doesn’t understand is that we are sick of hearing the same crap from the TeeGees.  We are speaking up.  The transgender don’t seem to understand just who is being mocked.  As the transgender lose relevancy, transsexual segregationists (as Cristan ignorantly calls us) are gaining it.  If the TG are not at odds with an issue they invent one.

Enough transgender non-sense…enough transgender ignorance and word twisting…and, enough transgender Cristan Williams, get a life.

(By the way, Cristan Williams says she doesn’t know who Autumn Sandeen is and I think she needs to know.  Cristan, Autumn Sandeen is your savior.)

The sailboat restoration is moving right along.  For those who might be interested, you can see the fruits of almost five months of refurbishing HERE.

Still a lot of work to do, but the end is in sight.

My husband and I are engineers, though of different disciplines, a fact that sometimes drives us both crazy due to the fact that neither of us can BS the other…it’s a never ending ME -vs.- IE- running-battle-debate-discussion kind of thing.  His background is roughly 75% design, 25% practical…where mine is almost 100% practical.  In other words, I know way more about construction and logistics than he ever will, where when it comes to design he has forgotten more than I ever knew in the first place.

My career has in many ways been as an interpreter by being the laison in relating to the construction personnel what the design engineers have in mind.  It is often said that just because the engineers can design and draw something doesn’t in the least mean that the construction group can understand and build it…and that is where I come in.  Very sophisticated modeling software has greatly helped design engineers in constructibility.  Nonetheless, sometimes they struggle.  My career, almost by definition, requires me to ask for explanations.  My guy just loves it when I do not understand something and ask him to explain.  He does so in a most amusing way that I just love.  Regardless of what he is explaining to me, when he is through and unconsciously I think,  there is an unspoken but implied phrase that he leaves out…and that is “…you stupid bitch.” A few very simple examples:

“Well, this is square and this is round and when you combine them you get the answer…” [unspoken] you stupid bitch.

“You will get a curve once you add the guides…” [unspoken] you stupid bitch.

Of course, he never actually says “…you stupid bitch.” He knows as well as I do that almost every time I ask for an explanation it’s not because I don’t understand the issue, it’s simply because I don’t understand him.  So, when he explains, the dangling implication is that I should understand him, regardless of how confusing he might be in expressing himself.  He ends his explanations a lot of times in such a way that I should have understood the first time, and sometimes I should have.  It’s become a running joke with us over the years and we laugh a lot about it.  He’ll explain something I ask about and when he finishes I’ll laugh and say to him, “you know the only thing you left out on the end, don’t you?” He’ll laugh, and I’ll say, “…you stupid bitch.” It’s very funny to me, probably more so than it is to him.

But one thing neither of us debate and that is well engineered anythings.  We both have a huge appreciation for well engineered things whether it be a barbecue pit  or a complicated piece of equipment.  We both appreciate just how difficult it can be to engineer something right.  I have some good friends that live in Alexandria, Virginia who recently sent me the video below.  They fall under the very difficult engineering classification of mechanisms.  Perhaps you have seen the clip…if not, enjoy Theo Jansen’s strandbeests.

I don’t care. That’s right, I really don’t care.

I don’t care…who says they are what on the internet; to me, it’s way more important if I simply like them or not and what they claim to be or not be is unimportant if they are an interesting human being and can construct a sentence that holds my attention.

I don’t care…if Autumn Sandeen continues to refer to Mike Penner as Christine and violates the GLAAD Media Reference Guide by referring to someone opposite of how they publicly preferred to “identify” because everyone can see through her transparency.

I don’t care…if instead of focusing on Federal legislation to recognize post op transsexual’s rights the trans activists instead get bent out of shape at Saturday Night Live and Craig Ferguson’s late night talk show for I know that those same people will find fault in someone even if they have to invent an issue.

I don’t care…if Zoe Brain, a father with XY chromosomes claims to be intersex and have had a spontaneous sex change because even if that is true those who are intersex are no more likely to want to change their assigned sex than anyone else on Earth…a transsexual by any other name is still a transsexual.

I don’t care…if Monica Roberts thinks she is not a racist, she probably thinks she is not a bigot either, but it is amusing to hear her continued race based remarks while knowing she doesn’t.

I don’t care…that so many who claim to be transsexuals post photos of themselves before their sex change and yet seem obsessed with proudly sharing their pre-transition life with the world in spite of simultaneously lamenting how terribly painful things were before they transitioned.

I don’t care…that the transgender love to demonize me, my blog, and others who hold a similar view because we can instantly recognize a transvestite when we see one…so can everyone else.

I don’t care…if someone accuses me of having privilege and don’t feel obligated to jump on every bandwagon that comes along simply because there is always someone who has both more and less privilege than another; there’s nothing wrong with privilege.

I don’t care…if someone screws the system and then claims legitimacy through a loophole; if they can live with that then so can I…they’re the delusional one, not me.

I don’t care…that some are upset that they are not recognized as female because they act, look, talk, walk, write, appear, argue, and behave in every way as a male while at the same time stating they should not have to act, look, talk, walk, write, appear, argue, and behave as a female to be perceived, accepted, and recognized as one, in fact I think it is hilariously funny.

I don’t care…if someone claims to be a trans woman instead of just a woman for it is their problem if they want to relegate themselves forever to something less than or other than just a female.

I don’t care…if many of the transgender despise the gender binary yet insist on belonging to it by supposedly transitioning to either male or female while demanding to be referred to as one or the other gender.

I don’t care…if those who have recently transitioned feel that special legislation will smooth the edges of their life for they don’t realize that any success they may have with it lies in their ability to be perceived as what they think they are; just saying they are doesn’t make them so.

I don’t care…if some of the transgender think a man can become pregnant and that a woman can have a penis because that is so absurd and ridiculous it makes them appear totally out of touch with reality to anyone but some, not even all, of their supporters.

And…

And, I really don’t care…what issues Donna Rose is having with her travel arrangements.

None of this stuff affect me, and I don’t care…if the transgender thinks it does whether I like it of not…it doesn’t.

So, when one reads what is written here on my blog about some of the things I write above don’t think I really give a rat about them.  What would the world be without the weird and unusual?  Lighten up, I say.  All things seek equilibrium.  If any of the things above directly affect anyone reading this, then that person might need to reassess.  In many ways, watching the gender rebels is a lot like being in the audience of a carnival sideshow.

More and more I’m seeing others question the inclusion of transsexuals being under the transgender umbrella.  Predictably, it’s driving the transgender mad.  Yesterday, Joe Mirabella, with Bilerico asked the question:  What Should Gays and Lesbians Do to Help Trans People? (I have to admit that the first thing that came to my mind was…GO AWAY, then again, anyone who thinks that is going to happen is absolutely insane, so I abstained from commenting directly to the premise.)  But what was interesting to me was some of the comments.  Take this one for example, by someone calling themselves laughriotgirl:

Understand that there are many justified reasons for trans people not to trust the motivations of cis people, even cis GLB people and groups.

I found that to be a pretty revealing statement and asked her to list a few of the reasons cis people were automatically suspect.  She responded with the standard litany of gripes the transgender have with the GLB, failing to mention anything regarding non-homosexual cis people.  So I commented:

Well, I apologize for not making myself clear by simply ending your quote at cis…but it was actually the non-gay “cis” I was inquiring about. Issuing a statement that concludes anyone who is “cis” should be suspected of not being trustworthy seems to limit oneself to a very small populace in the big scheme of things. I don’t feel that way and was just wondering why you do.

She then came back with more cliche before asking me why I asked, to which I responded:

I asked because I fail to understand. I realize that many have no obvious desire to merge with the mainstream but just as many, if not more, do and have. And, I would venture to say that most in that group do not feel any more overt marginalization than any other women might. amym440 gave the statistics that indisputably say the recent survey that is so touted includes but a small percentage of post op transsexuals…and that is the group I allude to. The silent majority that the transgender generally never see or here about. Even HRC recognizes this group and shortly after the ENDA debacle of a few years ago even issued directions on how to recruit them to their cause, quite right in admitting it would be difficult if not impossible but worth a try to do so. If one has no desire to merge with the mainstream, then the question I asked is moot. If one does, it would seem most difficult to accomplish that if they are generally not trustful of the majority they wish to be a part of.

Laughriotgirl’s comment is quite revealing.  On her web page, she describes herself as “just another opinionated, geeky, comic reading, video game playing tranny” when in reality she’s “just another opinionated, geeky, comic reading, video game playing tranny who somehow thinks anyone who is not transgender gives a damn about who or what she is.  One day maybe, hopefully, she will realize that her lot in life will depend entirely on one-on-one rapport she forms with those she meets…everybody else could care less.  Her approach, like many transgender is most GLBcentric…great for the ghetto, not so much in the real world.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Autumn is being ridiculed again?

Say it ain’t so.

What a glutton for punishment she is.  One would think she’d throw in the towel.

I wonder if the fallout would have been the same if Autumn had been in the Craig Ferguson skit?

Yeah…I think it would have.  A wink’s as good as a nod to a blind horse.

So now the gender variants are all bent out of shape over the Saturday Night Live and Craig Ferguson skits.

Why?

What did the gender variants think the mainstream would do?

These skits are exactly the perception the gender variants have so carefully cultivated.  The gender variants have made a living out of telling anyone who would listen that what they physically present as has no bearing on how they should be perceived. How many times have we heard the gender variants say they don’t need to present as girls to be girls.  Oh, no, all they have to do is say they identify as girls to be “just as female as any other woman” on the planet.  In their version of female, they can have a penis.  In their version of male, they can become pregnant.  In their version of female, they should be able to take their cock into women’s spaces.  The gender variants don’t need to pay their dues by learning to look, talk, walk, appear, or otherwise present as female in order to be acknowledged as female, only say that they are.  And, we all know that for females to actually look, act, walk, talk, and present as females is just to buy into misogyny, now don’t we?

Well, I don’t think that.

But, the gender variants do.

And, then, after continuously offering up the absurd to justify their transness, the gender variants then have the nerve to wonder why the mainstream unmercifully ridicules and makes fun of them.  The mainstream will continue their mockery of the gender variants.  They are trans women, after all…something other than and less than female.

HERE

…of course, they think they are cute, cool, and funny.

Go figure.

More silly and ignorant things the transgenders say…

SILLY

Another silly and very stupid video from Cristan Williams at the Houston TG Center as she strains for some sense of credibility while preaching the TG party line that genitals do not define gender.

IGNORANT

This episode salutes Donna Rose for this splendidly ignorant statement illustrating just how out of touch she is:

“I’ve watched the “debate” between some who identify as “transsexual” and others that they define as transgender and find it to be both unfortunate and embarrassing.  My own personal stance on the topic hasn’t changed – nobody is any more worthy, better, healthy, moral, valid or entitled than anyone else. To turn the discussion into a wedge issue, or a platform for personal validation at the expense of others that they identify as “different” exposes just how deep that various phobias that plague many of us run.”

In “No Such Thing”, John Mayer says:

Well I never lived the dreams of the prom kings
And the drama queens

I didn’t either.  But, drama, as it’s mentioned above is a fact of life…

“Welcome to the real world,” she said to me

Condescendingly

Before I start, if I was single, and thirty five or forty years younger I’d go on a world wide, no holds barred quest to land John Mayer.  Cute as a bug in a rug just doesn’t do him justice…damn, he’s good looking.

But, back on topic Leigh’s post of a few days ago left some loose ends I must tie up.  First off, on the subject of banning…neither Elizabeth nor lisalee18wheeler are not banned from my blog. No one is banned from my blog.  On the other hand, anyone who thinks they can come here and generally be insulting should rethink their plans.
