A few days ago, I wrote a piece that addressed the absurdity of the transgender.  It elicited a few responses which, combined with a comment Alex Blaze made over at Bilerico, got me to thinking.

To set this up, the article at Bilerico was entitled The Queers are Upset I’m Not an Upset Queer and was not particularly flattering to the marriage issue stance the homosexual movement generally has.  It was written by a homosexual, published in a mainstream homosexual blog, and predictably the author got a lot of flack over it.  Bilerico queers taking care of Bilerico queers as they do, young Alex came to the rescue of the author by making the following statement in a comment, emphasis mine:

“The selfishness charge (he) is receiving is just dumb…I mean, you’re asking him not to organize his politics around his experiences…But saying that anyone who has priorities that are different than yours is selfish doesn’t make much sense. Couldn’t (he) just come back and say that you all are selfish for not prioritizing what he thinks is important.”

Now, anyone who has ever tried to debate the transgender over at Bilerico will instantly see the hypocrisy of such a statement by the moderator Managing Editor of Bilerico.

If one presents any form of criticism or an alternate opinion of the TG movement there (or any transgender blog), being called selfish will be the least of the insults they garner.  Certainly they will be called elitist.  Absolutely they will be labeled transphobic/homophobic.  Without a doubt they will be accused of spewing hate.  And undeniably they will be said to be self loathing.  I mean, after all, if you don’t support the TG movement you have to be a transphobic, homophobic, hate filled, self loathing elitist belonging to a similar ilk for the GLBT movement don’t have any other adjectives in their vocabulary than that.  It couldn’t just be that your politics and beliefs are based on your experiences, could it?  And, certainly if you disagree with the GLBT agenda you have no right to counter by inferring that the TG movement is cisphobic, hate filled, self loathing elitists if they don’t agree with an alternate perspective, could you?  Well, of course you couldn’t…unless you are queer or transgender or both (which is more often the case than not).

I’m not picking on Bilerico.  They are a gay blog dedicated to gay stuff.  But why doesn’t the TG movement respect the fact that there are other positions beside the pro homosexual TG/GLB mind set?

One worn out comment one sees over and over is that if classic transsexuals don’t want anything to do with the TG movement why don’t they just go away?  “Nobody is keeping you here”  they say, insinuating they want no more to do with classic transsexuals than we do with them.

Actually, that is a good question.  Unfortunately (or fortunately) they answer it themselves in their own blogs.  It appears they just don’t get it, however.  They continue to include us in their dialog as if we are them when clearly, we are not.  It’s akin to allowing one’s neighbor to keep his fence six inches inside your property line…after enough time has passed, your  property is their  property.  And that  is what the transgender don’t understand, we are not  their property.  We can be good neighbors, but if they want us to go away, they need to get their fence back on their side of the line.  In other words, respect our position: we are not like you.  We are female (or male)…periodPERIOD!

We think like your next door neighbor’s daughter…or your mother.  We behave and think like the women you see at the grocery store or the mall.  Our political views are not  based on the GLB agenda.  We don’t feel a need to march in the streets for special rights.  We don’t believe that real women have penises.  We believe, just like the vast majority of the world, in the gender binary and have no desire to deconstruct it.  We are female (or male) no more or less, nothing special…just females…just like the average female…and that’s it.

Why is that so hard for the transgender to understand?  I think they do understand that.  I think that is why they are so damn abusive to classic transsexuals who dare to call out the difference.  I think that is why they feel so threatened by us.  We are their  legitimacy.

If the transgender want us to go away, specify that we are innately different than you are…if you refer to us at all, which hopefully you will quit doing.  We do not claim that you  are like us, it is you  that continue to claim that we are like you.  If you want us to go away then simply quit making that claim.

My good friend, Leigh, says in the previous entry I allude to above when responding to yet another comment by Leigh Ann, who states, “There must be something we can do about these people”

“All we can do is speak out. It’s not even nearly enough since they are in the majority and they shout louder. While this blog and a very few others do tell it like it is, we are mostly ignored…There simply isn’t enough of us willing to speak up to make any difference…”

Very well said, Leigh.  They have the numbers on us for sure.  Nonetheless, might doesn’t make right.  Either way, I for one don’t want to do anything about the transgender.  They have their thing and their thing is well…their  thing, not mine.  But I will continue speaking out until they quit making the ridiculous claim that they are like me.  The transgender are a group of gender variant people who can do any damn thing they want to as far as I’m concerned…but they are not classic transsexuals…they are not simply female or male…no, they aren’t.

  1. Yes, they do see us as women but being mysogynist yet having to give lip service to celebrating the feminine, (ever notice how sexualized that is?) we become the perfect targets to express that pent up mysogyny.

Let’s face it, they see us as living their fantasies and when we tell them we don’t teeter around all day confined in corsets and on 4″ do-me pumps we are traitors to those fantansies. When we become actual feminists and defend women’s space they go ballistic. In the weird head space of the transgender/transvestite where penises are feminine, they easily hold the conflicting ideas that we are both actual women AND full time supercrossdressers at the same time……so in their minds we owe them.

  2. RE: bilerico,
That is the double standard of the queers.

Before i quite the tranny lists i belonged to; every once and a while someone new would come along and they would recognize the difference between classical TS and transgender. Give them a week on one of those lists and if they can think for themselves they will be shouted off the list.
If they are one of the tranny sheepople, they will submit to reprogramming and gulp the Kool-Aid. It is scary to see the transformation take place.

    Jim Jones would be proud.

  3. I think catkisser is correct but I also believe it is a little more simple than that.

What we see from the transgender attitude today is a subset of the attitude we used to see from the sissy boy flaming queers of old. In fact, one rarely sees the old sissy boy types at all any more since they have now become the transfags. (yes I said fags which is the american slang for the european slang term, queer.)

Anyway, years ago, the sissy boy types were the most outspoken against transsexuals, insinuating that we were all gay men in the closet, that we were deluded into surgery, that we are not female and that we should be like them in hating female genitalia. (sound familiar ?)

This is your non-op tranny of today. The flaming has given way to “activism” in the gay cause, but underneath it all they are still the gay sissy boys of the homosexual world. Today there are a lot more of them and they are not the flamboyant “boys” they were back then because now they have adopted the female garb and the female persona and call themself transgender. Some now claim that they are even heterosexual since in their eyes they live as women, pass as women, have boyfriends, and are therefore heterosexual. They dismiss out of hand that they are still packing a penis, or that their boyfriends are gay men. That little fact doesn’t mean one damn thing to them. It construes the definition of homosexuality which is another form of smashing the gender binary. They point at us and say that we are the delusional ones. Even with surgery, they remain tied to their homosexual roots and when they come across straight men they see no difference to them and the gay men they used to date. Unfortunatly for them though, those straight men often see right through the veil and trouble ensues.

Cloaking has been achieved through assimilating the transsexuals into the homosexual fold as the “t” on the GLB tail but make no mistake about it, they may look like women, but the flamboyant sissy boys of old are still with us today, and they are the transgender.

  4. That describes Marti and Monica to a “T” And they say Homosexuals don’t recruit.

  5. To catkisser, Sue, and Leigh:

On any blog and particularly here at Enough Non-Sense, I doubt I have ever seen more astute comments. Each of you, in three different ways yet in complimentary fashion, have hit the nail squarely on the head.

I think catkisser is absolutely correct when she says the transgender sexualize their existence. It’s as if they think by stating they “cried” and “wept” and using a grammar structure reserved for the heroine of a third rate romance novel they are somehow validated and their point proved. In reality, the only thing that is proven is their identity is based on the fantasy of being female rather than the innateness of it simply being. I am reminded of an encounter Leigh and I had once while we both lived in Dallas. At the time, both of us frequented a chat room predominately inhabited by post ops and serious pre op transsexuals (the room closed several years ago). We “met” there a “woman” who claimed to be a thwarted pre-op who only remained that way due to medical issues. Her photo, which she claimed was absolutely a legitimate representation, was quite attractive; she asked if all of us could get together. Leigh and I agreed, but right off held her suspect because she wanted to meet in the infamous Oak Lawn gayborhood of Dallas. Though the girl was quite nice, as many transgender are, the truth is she was simply a crossdresser in every way…she looked nothing and I mean nothing like her photo. In fact, had Leigh and I not known we were supposed to meet her at a certain place at a certain time, it would have been impossible to have recognized her at all. Quite typically and predictably, it was all about the clothes to her. It seems the older the transgender are, the more they adhere to the twisted caricature of what they see gender to be.

Leigh has hit it spot on with her analogy of the sissy boy fag. I have no grudge against the homosexuals and I know that Leigh doesn’t either. For that matter, I know that neither Leigh nor catkisser holds anything personally against the transgender/crossdresser crowd either…until they vocally try to deconstruct our gender. Perhaps most poignant is Leigh’s comment:

The transgender are tied to the hip of the homosexual movement. One would be hard pressed to find a blog comment, much less a blog, that does march in lock step with the homosexual agenda. There is an easy explanation for this: the transgender are first and foremost homosexual. This fact lies perfectly within catkisser’s comment above for whatever one thinks of the homosexual movement, it is focused and based on sex. Hence the sexualized perspective the transgender present.

Sue’s comment is perhaps the most undebateable. I literally can’t remember the last time I have posted on a blog arguing the classic transsexual’s position. It is quite useless to do so. One will not be received well no matter what they say nor how they say it. It’s fruitless to even try. If one points out undeniable facts, it is not unusual if not the rule that the comment will be either deleted or the thread closed entirely by the moderator. I simply don’t go there anymore. Though I don’t comment on their blogs anymore, I certainly gave it the old college try once. And, Sue, is quite right. Over and over I saw newbies come onto the list carrying the same standard that we do. I sincerely believe that many of those I observed were classic transsexuals. But quickly, due to shout downs and insults, they switched over to the transgender party line. It was sickening, and pervasive. I hate the phrase, but Sue is right, they submitted to the masses and gulped the tranny Kool-Aid. Sue is also right when she says, “It is easy to see the transformation.” Indeed, it is.

  6. Something can be done, I’m sure of it. We ran Mercedes out of Edmonton last year, we just need to find a way to convert that to the internet.

Besides the gay transgender thing, there’s also the attention they’re looking for. Why else would someone want to broadcast themselves as transgender except to get attention. The whole point is to change and then blend back into society, not to be flamboyant about how differnt they are.

  7. LMFAO
it’s funny how you “classical transsexuals” try to assert you are teh same as any other women, but alot of you aren’t totally passable. you may get SRS , but nothing changes. you’re no different than alot of the transgender in terms of how society sees you (although i admit alot of transgender are worse)

  8. ^^^^–Penis issues there–^^^^

So what color is the sky in transland these days?

  9. Avah, is that all you have? Some baseless assumption that we need to pass? Sorry hun, I don’t pass, I am and that’s exactly the reaction I get from the world outside transland.

Our worlds are so different from you transgenders you will never understand it.
