Of course, everyone is buzzing on yet another bit of biological evidence related to the cause of classic transsexuality.  Here are some of the headlines, all emphasis mine:

Official Journal of the Society of Biological Psychiatry:

There is a likely genetic component to transsexualism, and genes involved in sex steroidogenesis are good candidates. We explored the specific hypothesis that male-to-female transsexualism is associated with gene variants responsible for undermasculinization and/or feminization…A significant association was identified between transsexualism and the AR allele, with transsexuals having longer AR repeat lengths than non-transsexual male controls (p=0.04).

If old enough, one can remember the general time period when GLB  started popping up.  Before the internet, during the 70’s once in a blue moon GLB would jump out from the television or newspaper…perhaps a magazine now and then.  Slowly, and then more quickly, GLB became the term for the gay rights movement and entered the realm of a commonly known household term.  And, just a few years later, certainly by the late 80’s, I think there were few in America who could not identify that GLB equated with gay rights in general, the homo/bisexual rights movement specifically.

GLBT took a similar path.

Let’s assume things work out for the gays…same sex marriage instantly becomes a reality nationwide and an inclusive ENDA (Employee Non Discrimination Act) is the law of the land by sundown this afternoon.

What will the GLB and homosexual transgender do then?  What will the GLBT activists do with all that self defined self importance once their two biggest quests are finally brought to an end?  For the GLB it doesn’t get any bigger than same sex marriage…for the transgender, it’s all about same sex marriage and  ENDA.  What will the GLBT advocates do once they get their holy grail.

Perhaps the GLB could lobby for legislation that would force society to appreciate them all warm and fuzzy like.  You know, go for laws that compel  the mainstream to snuggle up to them as compatriots…ask to see the wedding pictures and hear about the newlywed’s honeymoon experience.  Perhaps the GLB could establish guidelines for the entertainment industry mandating  the death sentence for any comedian who pokes fun at anything even vaguely amusing about gays and lesbians…in fact, make it inclusive  and lobby for the same punishment when comedians attempt humor on any  level.  Oh, what the hell, maybe they could just have all  comedy eliminated…Lord knows the world needs that.

If you don’t believe THIS…then read THIS.

Sign THE PETITION.

When I transitioned, quite naively, I felt I could buck the statistics.  I felt I could hang on to my family and friends.  I hung on to that notion for several years before taking the approach that Lynn Conway took with her brother.

Ms. Conway says:

I wasted a lot of energy over years of trying to gain the “acceptance” of my brother and his wife.  They were the only family I had, so it seemed important to maintain that connection.

She then capitulates to the futility of the endeavor:

When I realized that they didn’t even know me, all emotion evaporated. I felt no loss. I felt nothing except a feeling of stupidity…I let it go. They are now strangers to me, whom I won’t see again.

I took the exact same approach both with my family and certain of my “friends” feeling much the better for it.  Like Lynn Conway, there came a point in my life when I realized most, if not all, of those who knew me prior to transition would never see me as anything other than what they once knew.  I came to realize their tolerance of me was anything but acceptance.  And when that point came, letting go was not nearly as difficult as hanging on to a hope that was nothing more than fantasy.

Most of the people aren’t on the TDOR list are transsexuals (or people living full time in their chosen gender), not crossdressers.

If you can’t understand what this sentence means, you are not alone.  It is just one sentence of what turns out to be a confusing piece at TransAdvocate…one of the blogs I mentioned a while back that has deleted comments I have made.

I was glancing at Pam’s House Blend Fruitcake Foibles today and noticed that yet another internet petition is posted there violating that blogs own policies.  One might recall when I posted THE PETITION at PHB Pam’s Housetrannie Bungalo a while back my post was deleted because of a Terms of Service violation i.e., no internet petitions were allowed…supposedly.  I wrote about it in a piece entitled Second Silencing.  You can see another example of Autumn Sandeen the homosexual bed ticks HERE as yet another internet petition is allowed in support of endless whining.

You gotta love those queer folks tactics.

Oh well, not to worry…THE PETITION is active.  Those who don’t sign it deserve everything the homosexual transgender activists hand down to them.
