This blog is entitled Enough Non-Sense.  Susan named it so to point out the bullshit nonsense presented by the transgender activism and the transgender themselves that do all  the talking for all  of us, specifically, classic transsexuals.  This blog and its opinion pieces, its authors and its point of view are certainly not  pro transgender…but just as certainly it does not support the overt fanaticism  that many HBS advocates push.  If the only choices to be had were transgender or Harry Benjamin Syndrome, which we see as no more nor less than, and synonymous with, classic transsexualism, which side of that fence we come down on would most assuredly not be a thinker: classic transsexualism.

Enough Non-Sense exists as a forum for what we see as the silent majority.  The blog is for the very few of the countless thousands of post operative transsexual women that up until now have sat silent and gone on with our lives, many of us long term post operative transsexuals, many of us married, many of us not GLB affiliated, and many of us steadily, stealthily, and successfully moving along in society with little or no contact with anything G, L, B or  T other than the blogsphere to voice our opinion.

Enough Non-Sense  is about as anti  transgender as it gets, and TS-Si knows it, and for its efforts, when it calls out the HBS hypocrisy at TS-Si for exactly what it was  in the case of Karen Deamons, Lisa Thompson resorted to the same slurs and name calling we might expect from any of the mainstream GLBT internet blogs.  That’s fine, we are used to it, we get it all the time for we are actually trying to sway opinions, not feed the same six or eight people who seem to frequent their site.  The most interesting point of Thompson’s diatribe is that not once does she address the gist of what I wrote, that being the hypocrisy of TS-Si’s treatment of Karen Deamon’s judgement.  It was about what I expected.  The best defense is a good offense I suppose.  And she says we  struck a nerve.

The problem with both sides of this battle, transgender on the one side and the radical and fanatical HBS group  on the other, is that both have the mentality that you’re either for us or against us.  Neither, it seems, are willing to recognize a third group, those of us that until recently have chosen to remain silent.

We are the silent majority.  A few of the tens of thousands of post operative transsexual women that want only one thing….no more non-sense.

TS-Si and many of their readers don’t support the petition to show that many true transsexuals are fed up with being included under the transgender umbrella, that’s certainly their right…and speaks for itself.

Sign THE PETITION…don’t follow the fanatics at TS-Si…help us break away from the transgender umbrella…

  1. I think it is a little arrogant to say you speak for those tens of thousands of classic transsexuals be they post operative or not. what you are doing is Exactly The Same Thing the transgenders and GLB are doing.

Perhaps if you had made a more effective argument and not resorted to using bass language your message here and elsewhere in this blog may have made a more positive impression.

How do i go about removing my name from the petition.
I have decided that what you represent, and it is not the silent majority, whatever it is; i want no part of it.

    Sue

  2. I don’t know how, Sue, it’s not my petition, but you are right, it’s probably in your best interest not to be on it if you feel transsexuals should continue being lumped in with the transgender.

I would suggest Cathryn Platine, I would think she could get you off of it at the speed of light.

As a point, Enough Non-Sense doesn’t speak for The Silent Majority, it’s a forum for them to speak, however. I also don’t blame you for how you feel, this blog is definitely not your kind of place.

  3. I realize Lisa Thompson is not too bright, but I find it more than a little disengenuous that she uses “Let my people go…” as an attempt to suggest an insult to the civil rights movesment.

If Lisa was well read, which she obviously is not, and versed in Christianity, which she obviously is not…she would realize that the phrase is perhaps the most famous quote attributed to Moses when he said to Pharoah: “Let my people go…”. That statement has been used through the ages to represent groups that are held hostage by political systems in which they are not allowed to diengage.

It is absolutely appropriate as the petition title.

I guess anyone could be a few thousand years off in their rationale if their only attempt at rebuttal is insult.

  4. I will say to you again, Sue, this site is not for you. One day you support a petition that shows a solidary between people from countries all over the world who want nothing to do with the transgender umbrella…the next day, you don’t support that same petition.

You are a follower who can’t seem to think for yourself. So if you don’t support the petition that seeks to disengage transsexuals from the transgender, then you really don’t have anything to add here.

I suggest you go somewhere else to voice your opinion.

Might I suggest, TS-Si…they dont seem to want to disengage from the transgender umbrella either.

  5. I support the idea behind the petition. Considering what a fight this is turning into i am seriously considering if my decision to have signed it.

using language that is found on docks and construction sites doesn’t show much command of the English language.
I wouldn’t be judging other if I were in your shoes.

I do think you are correct this place is not for me. I do believe based on the number of post transition women I know that you do not represent the silent majority by your actions and presentation, even though you share an idea common to with the rest of us.

With that i shall say my good-bye.

Have a good life and take care.

    Sue

  6. GREAT decision.

You have a good life too, Sue.

  7. “using language that is found on docks and construction sites doesn’t show much command of the English language.”

hey sue … have you ever watched cable? I guess you have never seen any woman use the “F” word have you.

Tell me something .. do you believe that women are sugar and spice and all things nice ? Is that what your saying sue ? Are you saying that “REAL” women like you would never use such common language?

Do pardon us .. if we offended your sensibilities .. and don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out …

  8. I have seen cable, it’s entertainment, for that matter so is the evening news. Be that as it may. I have heard all kinds of women use that language.
When you say you represent a group of people. How can you expect anybody to take you seriously if you swear in that context.

If we were talking on the phone or in person over coffee that would be one a different context and I certainly wouldn’t take issue with it then.

    Take care
    Sue

  9. Sue, why are you back? You agreed this site is not for you.

I’m having a great life like you wished me…and I’m taking care, as you wished.

So why are you back? You don’t support a petition whose intent is to disassociate transsexuals from the transgender…so why are you back.

Go on over the TS-Si…they don’t support the petition either…they are your kind.

    Why come back over here?

  10. The petition is indeed named for the statement by Moses, I am, afterall, a theologian..a pagan one.

The petition represents nothing more than reflecting the wishes that I have, over the years, heard expressed over and over by hundreds of women of transsexual history that they are not transgender and object to the umbrella use of that term to lump them in with groups they have absolutely nothing in common with. It is not a political movement, it makes no other statements beyond what is represented right there on the petition and it is aimed directly at GLAAD who defines and defends the definitions they were forced fed by the TG activist crowd. That’s right that was the only input they got. Sandeen was very instrumental in that force feeding and now uses the GLADD definitions in a mental masturbation, incestuous justification of Sandeen’s own positions.

If the numbers on the petition grow to around 500 or so, they will be emailed to every single member of the GLAAD board…..and an organization dedicated to anti-defamation can hardly justify continued use of definitions that a significant number of women consider to be defaming…..

That is the reasoning behind the petition….nothing more, nothing less.

Sign it if you support the right of those of us born with a neurological intersexed condition to self define….don’t if you support the rights of other to define us against our will.

  11. Sue …

There you go not reading again.

Where does it say I or we *REPRESENT*
    anyone or anything?

    We Don’t, it Dont.

  12. Having read all the bits of this, and as a very recent post-op, I have this to say:

“Ohhhhh my! You do love controversy, don’t you! Quite funnily, TS-Si seem to suggest they DON’T represent the HBS group…then say you’re not really included in it, Leigh.

You did kinda exclude yourself at one stage, to be fair, but this is just the kind of unadulterated cr*p which leads me to go ‘undercover’(or stealth)…and stay there!!

Trouble is, when I do that, various groups include me in ‘whatever the hell they want’, since I’m not actively saying I DON’T want to be included.

Errrr….NO…you can only include me if I ACTIVELY CHOOSE to be included, not because you claim to represent everybody…right down to the goldfish!

And yes, I have signed the petition. I have the courage of my convictions.
