TS-Si continues defending the indefensible and layering the innuendo in their latest claptrap called The Assault on Culture and the Social Contract…a meaningless title to an even more insignificant rant that has nothing to do with either culture or  social contracts.  The truth is this piece of garbage is just one more example of TS-Si not having either the integrity or courage to address this site directly, instead speaking around the personal issues they seem to have with what we write in arrogant intellectual transparency that is less than juvenile.  Fine, doesn’t matter.

If interested, which no one could be blamed for not  being, read what we say, read what they write…and make up your own mind.

The Big Lie…German propoganda philosophy during WWII…if one shouts absurdities loud enough, twists the truth tight enough, and does both long enough…the masses will believe it…no matter how ridiculous.  TS-Si is following just that philosophy with this childish send up.

Note:

Enough Non-Sense is based on one premise:  classic transsexuality should not be included under the transgender umbrella nor associated with the GLBT.  Anyone who reads this blog and is old enough to comprehend the written word would undoubtedly walk away knowing that is our position…unless, of course, they choose not to; TS-Si has chosen to do just that.

If one comments all over the blogosphere, as I do, and not just the GLBT sites but the mainstream ones as well, it’s hard not to run across Zoe Brain’s opinions.  I like Zoe’s blog site; and if we disagree at all, generally it is on some minor point.  On her site, she says that she doesn’t identify as transgender nor as gay…neither do I.  I am often amazed sometimes at some of the blogs where we run into each other; they range from Oprah’s “pregnant man” epic to obscure sites by some right wing idiot whose blogs out in Texas.  Ms. Brain’s approach is almost always from the perspective of science.  Mine is almost always from a more practical point of view.

Zoe is a scientist by profession who works, I believe, in the space arena, and has worked on some very impressive projects if I remember correctly.  I, on the other hand, am an engineer involved in the construction of huge industrial projects with scopes of work that can, and do, run into the billions of dollars.  Perhaps that brief background explains our different approach to common interests.

This blog is entitled Enough Non-Sense.  Susan named it so to point out the bullshit nonsense presented by the transgender activism and the transgender themselves that do all  the talking for all  of us, specifically, classic transsexuals.  This blog and its opinion pieces, its authors and its point of view are certainly not  pro transgender…but just as certainly it does not support the overt fanaticism  that many HBS advocates push.  If the only choices to be had were transgender or Harry Benjamin Syndrome, which we see as no more nor less than, and synonymous with, classic transsexualism, which side of that fence we come down on would most assuredly not be a thinker: classic transsexualism.

In a recent attempt to actually get something done, Cathryn Platine recently launched an Internet petition aimed at GLAAD entitled “Let our people go”.  THE PETITION is an attempt to show the GLB and the transgender movement that many of their so-called supporters are not happy being included in with the umbrella term “transgender”.

The petition itself has been slow to acquire signatures and even if it were to do so is not likely to effect any significant action by GLAAD.  The transgender have already used it as a venue to slam its very purpose.  Nonetheless, as the site has become more known the numbers of those signing it are  steadily mounting.  The reality is that those of whom it would benefit are generally not even aware it exists.

When one reads blogs in which there is a healthy percentage of non -transgendered commenters, one of the words that will jump out at you is the use of the word “confused”, as in “…those confused  individuals”.  The transgender see this as a slam.

There has been much written about how the transgender talk only to themselves.  Of course, this is true.  As most don’t have much interaction with anyone outside of their club, they have come to 1) support issues that pretty much no one outside of their group, including some of the GLBs, would agree with, and 2) not have the ability to understand why and how those outside the transgender realm feel the way they do.  Both of these items are a function of societal concepts that the transgender choose to define in their own unique vernacular.

“What in the world are they thinking?”

The past ten years has seen the transgender movement grow almost exponentially.  The things one read and hears about on the internet now days from those who identify as transgender is mind blowing to me.  I write that off to the internet and those whose life revolves around it, nonetheless, they count.  The transgender have a rather skewed view of gender that only  they buy into.

It wasn’t always that way.

Angie Zapata was gorgeous.

Angie Zapata was pre-op.

Angie Zapata went out with a straight man.

And, now, Angie Zapata is dead…very dead.

And, I’m pissed about it.

A commenter at  The DonnaBlog put it best:

“I can’t not ignore the fact that this again is a case of pre-operative trans girl picking up a straight guy and it ending badly. How many times must the trans community relive this same drama before they learn straight males are very homophobic and will respond with violence to cover their embarrassment. It’s only common sense that you do not give the impression to be a whole and complete women  and then turn out to be Male. It’s no secret that Straight men do not like male genitals I hope that others who are thinking of picking up men without telling will take pause and give this young women’s death some thought before doing so.”

As someone said at the blog post over at the 9News comment section said, “There’s absolutely no evidence that she did not tell the guy.”  And, that’s true.  But, who really believes that?  I don’t.  So, just like Gwen Araujo, another beautiful young transgender or transsexual is dead.
